This service is great as we pick you up from the quaint town of Turangi. If you are staying central we can pick you up from your accommodation. If you are staying out of our pick up area we can meet you at the Turangi isite on Ngawaka Place.
We pick up at 6:00am. This gets you to Mangatepopo by 7am. This service allows for up to 8 hours to complete the track. It takes most people between 6-8 hours. Most people are off by 2:30pm
We have multiple departures between 2:30-3pm. You must be off the track by 3pm. If you are worried about not making it back in time you may like to consider doing the Ketetahi Park N Ride option.
We then get you back to Turangi between 3-3:30pm.
Being in Turangi you could go and soak in the Tokaanu Hot Springs then you could kick back and enjoy a picnic dinner by the riverside to relax and unwind.
This service is used by those wanting to access the Tongariro Northern Circuit. It is important to talk to us before arranging this as there is a lot of logistics required with hut bookings, weather, and timings. Please email us for advice before you book your huts.
Prompt transportation to trail head, great for slow hikers like me that cannot keep up with a group but can still do 13+ miles.
